Life begins after 55
A quartet of enterprising adults, over half a century old, purposefully signed up for the Advanced TESOL Certification Program with Global TESOL College, Canada. Their first step in this “3-Stage TESOL journey” started when they attended the 30-hour in-class Foundation TESOL Course on April 8-13, 2019.
Being aware of the challenges some participants were facing, Celine demonstrated great flexibility by pacing and reorganising the training process, practice sessions and critical activities. As such, there was a follow-up session on the following Saturday May 20, for 3 hours. Besides catching up on the outstanding topics, they had the opportunity to take the Modalities Quiz to determine their personal learning styles.
It was truly an enriching and fulfilling learning experience for all concerned, students and instructor alike.
