TESOL 2018
GTG conducted 5 Foundation TESOL Courses (FTC) for Global TESOL College, Canada, in April, June, September, October and December 2018. Participants received an intensive introductory course (FTC) which is Core to the Global TESOL College’s ‘English Teaching Certification Programme’. With our emphasis on effectively transferring the heart, passion and skills of teaching learners to excel, classes were usually kept between 4 – 12 participants.
In 2018, classes were small, with participants getting the best in terms of optimal interaction, personal attention and feedback. Our Centre also allows past FTC grads to revisit the course if the class is small. For example, in April, we had only 2 students, one of whom had flown in from China for the course. They were joined by 2 former TESOL grads, Caleb and Esther, respectively, as a refresher course. There was also some international flavour as Jessie from Taiwan joined the June class while Gwen, a former TESOL grad from Canada, observed the December FTC.
